Halloween Cartie Race, Brechin, Angus
Scottish Autofest, Dumfries & Galloway

The Drumlanrig Gravity Grand Prix is an "all disciplines" gravity race in the delightful grounds of Drumlanrig Castle, near Dumfries. The course is approximately 1Km in length and has a a good mix of sharp and gentle turns. Typical top speeds will be around 45mph (see the speed profile for details).
This is part of a much larger event - the Scottish AutoFest - which is being run on a not for profit basis to raise money for charity. In addition to the gravity racing there will be a range of attractions that will delight all the family and provide something to interest visitors of all ages.
There will be free on-site camping for competitors. Entries open in the next few days.

Border Bogie Challenge, Denholm, Scottish Borders
The 2013 cartie season kicks off in Scotland on Saturday 25th May at the wonderful Border Bogie Challenge. This fun filled famiy eent is well worth the trip either as a spectator or as a competitor. There is a shorter course for the junior racers and a longer course for those of us who should know better.
- Juniors and Senior races.
- Classes for Soapbox Cartie, Gravity Sidecar, Gravity Bike and Pedal Bike.
- SCA Championship points available.

Catterline Cartie Challenge, Kincardineshire
The Catterline Cartie Challenge is an annual competition for home made "gravity powered" soapbox carties which is held as part of Catterline Gala Weekend. It was first held in 2005, and is one of the highlights of the village year.
It also forms part of the SCA Championship series.
Top speeds are around 30mph, and the short and twisty course provides plenty of excitement for drivers and spectators alike.
Entries for existing teams will be available from 1st January 2014, with entries from new teams being accepted from early February 2014.

Hawksland Hill Run, Lanarkshire
The Hawklands Hill run is something a little bit different. Instead of aiming for the quickest time down the course, the teams compete to see who can travel the furthest.
