How Fast?!

Bushnell Velocity Speed GunOne of the most common questions we are asked is "how fast do your carties go". With our new acquisition, we will now be able to give a definitive answer. The Bushnell Velocity Speed Gun is accurate to +/- 1mph and will measure speeds up to 200mph, which should be more than enough to measure even the fastest carties at Cairngorm.

Gravity Sidecar Racing in 2010

Scottish Carties have been working on a specification for a new class of racer for 2010 - the Gravity Sidecar!

There is already considerable interest from several teams in building one, and several events expressing an interest in running gravity sidecars either as a demonstration or as a class in its own right.

Now including Gravity SidecarBorder Bogie Challenge 2010The 2010 Border Bogie Challenge will run on Saturday May 22nd, and entries will be accepted from the 1st January 2010 onwards. More details will be published on the Border Bogie Challenge web site over the coming months, but last years details should give you a fair idea of what to expect. Keep looking for updates though.
