front wheels
Most people use standard 20" BMX wheels with 14mm axles. These are strong enough that you can wind the cones out to one side so most of the axle sticks out on just one side and can be attached to the cartie.
Formula Gravity make 20" wheels with stub axles.
The best thing to do would be to go along to a race near you and have a look at the different designs.
