Teams will consist of driver and four additional crew members, they will be allocated a ‘pit’ area on the market place as a space where they can showcase their vehicle and raise funds for their chosen charity/good cause, the Market Place will also have additional entertainment and food stalls,
A full vehicle build specification and race rules & regulations will be provided on application to race. Teams are encouraged to use the opportunity to raise funds through sponsorship and other opportunities for their good cause, and similarly that teams enter into the spirit of the Challenge and theme their vehicle and race wear.

The greatest racing event in the world, probably. Come and experience the thrill of the daredevil drivers who dice with death as they aim to be crowned champions of ....... well something. The aim is to have a fun day out for all ages, the focus is very much on family and friends having a good time, hopefully with a little bit of something for everyone. Bouncy castles, archery, paintballing, rock climbing, face painting and the like as well as traditional crafts, vintage cars, a tractor run, and a petting zoo and much, much more. Food and drink available. The event takes place at Greenlands farm village, Tewitfield, Carnforth LA6 1JH on Saturday 10th June 2017 at 1pm.
Entrance is £2 per adult - kids under 16 are free. Cost of entry for racers is £50 for 4 runs. All rules and regulations can be found on the website. The first 500 paying people through the gate will be entered into a prize draw, the prizes consisting of an ipad, xbox one and a super TV.

The course is a kilometre of perfectly smooth private driveway that snakes through a private woodland in Penn Street, Buckinghamshire.

The revival of the Hunstanton Soap Box Derby ! Build your own go-kart and compete to be the fastest. This was a huge event in the 80s, and now it’s back! Hunstanton is hugely excited and anticipating a great turnout with everyone, residents and visitors alike, keen to show off their building and racing skills.
