The 9th Belchford Downhill Challenge will take place on Furlongs Lane, Belchford on September the 19th, 2010.

New rules are planned, so make sure your cartie conforms to their new specifications.

The Whirlowbrook Hall Soap Box Derby is a fun event, to be enjoyed by competitors and spectators alike.

The Soap Box Challenge will raise money for Cavendish Cancer Care, an independent charity established over 15 years ago, giving free emotional support to people affected by cancer in Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The main attraction will be a Soapbox Derby – 3 classes:

Organised by Apple Head Gravity Sport and run at Cadwell Park race track in Lincolnshire. Includes soapbox, gravity bike and gravity sidecar.

The Catterline Cartie Challenge is an annual competition for home made "gravity powered" soapbox carties which is held as part of Catterline Gala Weekend. It was first held in 2005, and is one of the highlights of the village year.

It also forms part of the SCA Championship series.

Entries for existing teams will be available from 1st January 2011, with entries from new teams being accepted from early February 2011.

The 2011 Richards Castle Soap Box Derby will be held on Sunday July 10th on Hanway Common, near Ludlow in Shropshire.
