  • 1 mile a fast sweeping tarmac through Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire, speeds 50 mph+
  • The format will be time trails Saturday Starting at 1 pm
  • Head to head racing on Sunday starting at 10 am
  • There is on site camping for everyone (available fri/sun)
  • There will be a marquee for all the Teams to get together on Saturday night
  • 20 Teams only so first come first served.
  • Entry fee £45 per Team   all inc.....
  • All carts built to Belchford/Cadwell spec will be suitable only minor mods will be required ie rear view mirrors.

Cookham Dean Gravity Grand Prix

The Fourth Cookham Dean Gravity Grand Prix will be held on Sunday 12th September 2010.

It is a fun event run by The Kaffirs of Cookham Dean to raise money for The Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance. The course will be from the junction of Church Road and Spring Lane to Uncle Tom’s Cabin.

Up to thirty carts will compete for a variety of prizes.

The Whirlowbrook Hall Soap Box Derby is a fun event, to be enjoyed by competitors and spectators alike.

The Soap Box Challenge will raise money for Cavendish Cancer Care, an independent charity established over 15 years ago, giving free emotional support to people affected by cancer in Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The Catterline Cartie Challenge is an annual competition for home made "gravity powered" soapbox carties which is held as part of Catterline Gala Weekend. It was first held in 2005, and is one of the highlights of the village year.

It also forms part of the SCA Championship series.

Entries for existing teams will be available from 1st January 2011, with entries from new teams being accepted from early February 2011.

Richards Castle Soap Box Derby, Shropshire

The 2011 Richards Castle Soap Box Derby will be held on Sunday July 10th on Hanway Common, near Ludlow in Shropshire.
