New Soapbox Race in Buckinghamshire

Bookmark and Share

Penn House Soapbox News has just reached us of a new venue that could be a great new event. Penn House in Buckinghamshire is a wonderful country house with a downhill private driveway nearly a mile in length. It is the home of Earl Howe and he is keen to see if it can become a regular charity event. One of the previous Earls used to race his Bugatti up the tree lined drive and had all the corners banked! A preliminary analysis using SCA CartieSim indicates that speeds will be between 30 and 40mph.

There are no other details yet, but the organisers would like to hear from any racer who would be interested in joining them on Monday May 27th 2013. If you would like to take part, please contact adrian@sbcon.co.uk.
